Game Review – Tekken 6

After all the hectic chainsaw-revving, clutch burning, countless amounts of flying bullets, and several evenings resting the fingers from hectic strumming, it’s time to throw down and take a look at Namco Bandai’s latest installment in probably their highest profile fighting game: Tekken 6.

"Ow! Get off me foot!" (In Japanese, of course)

Well, here it is. After being a Sony exclusive for so long it has finally crossed the bridge to the Microsoft side (much like the Soul Calibur series, which first ventured over for the second game, and then again for the fourth)

First impressions of this game are that it is very good graphically. The battle environments are very detailed, most of them destructible which adds a tad bit more realism. The characters look a lot more human (excluding Devil Jin of course) and move less “robot-like”. There is a lot more expression on the characters’ faces and they do actually look like they’re talking before exchanging hard-hitting punches and kicks.
